Volunteers are a critically needed part of our mission. World Services for the Blind cannot make the life changing impact on the clients we serve without the help of volunteers. It takes a team of people to accomplish the goals of creating sustainable independence for each student that comes through our doors. Since Covid, we have lost a sizable number of our volunteers. We need YOU! There are a variety of ways to get involved. You can come and assist instructors like in our daily living class where clients are learning the fundamentals of caring for a home. We need help taking clients on field trips like clothes shopping or a trip to the zoo or State Fair. We need volunteers who would like to host a holiday dinner or party for the clients. Most of our clients are at poverty or below and some come to us without a home to return to. Your support in volunteering means the world to them! Sign up below.
