When you create or update your will, you can include charitable bequests of a specific dollar amount; a percentage of what is left after other bequests have been made, or even a particular asset. You can also add a bequest to an existing will through a codicil or amendment.

Making World Services for the Blind the Beneficiary of Your Individual Retirement Account (IRA)

When you leave the balance of an IRA or 401(k) to your heirs, they may incur significant tax responsibilities on the funds. Instead, you may name a charity as a beneficiary of your retirement accounts and leave other assets to your heirs. Designating a charitable beneficiary can be done directly through your IRA or 401(k) administrator, and it does not require you to change your will.

A Gift of Life Insurance to World Services for the Blind

You may find you have a life insurance policy that is no longer needed for its original purpose. You can name WSB as the beneficiary of policy simply by requesting a “change of beneficiary” form from your life insurance company.
